💥 What’s buzzin’ in marketing?
Microsoft. It's new Bing chatbot will allow paid links and pop-ups with promotions and products within AI-generated search results. These chatbot ads will be bigger and more noticeable than regular search ads, providing more opportunities for advertisers to reach users during the discovery phase. However, there is a risk that the chatbot could distribute false or misleading information, which could have implications for advertising and brand safety. Despite the concerns, the waitlist for Bing's chatbot experience is in the millions, making it a significant new opportunity for Microsoft and advertisers.
Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg announced Meta's test of a paid verification program to increase income. The program will cost $11.99/month on the web and $14.99/month on iOS and Android. With Meta's development costs rising and ad business recovering from Apple's ATT update, the program could be a source of extra income, as seen in Snapchat+ subscription service with 2.5 million paying members. A piece of a nice infographic comparing Twitter’s and Meta’s paid subscription offering specially for you. For “free”!
TikTok. Just launched a beta version of their new "Creativity Program" creator fund to pay high-performing creators for their work. The program is only available to invited creators who meet certain criteria, such as having a high-standing account with over 100k followers and creating original videos over 1 minute long. The previous program has been criticized for low payments, but the new one aims to address some of those pain points.

Spotify has launched a token-gated playlist pilot that allows NFT holders from Overlord and Kingship communities to connect their crypto wallet and access an exclusive Spotify playlist.
Overlord is a gaming and entertainment brand that powers NFT collectibles, while Kingship is a virtual band made up of fictional band members inspired by Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs. The service is currently only available on Android and in the US, UK, Denmark, Australia, and New Zealand. The new features will let holders enjoy exclusive access to the playlist, including more than 100 tracks.
It seems that now even your music taste requires an NFT.
STX, the native token for Stacks blockchain, has surged 19% overnight and gained 132% over the week, regaining its billion-dollar market capitalization.
Stacks is built on top of Bitcoin and allows developers to build smart contracts secured by the original blockchain network. It relies on proof-of-transfer (PoX) consensus, using the proof-of-work cryptocurrency of an established blockchain to secure a new blockchain.
The uptick in activity on the Stacks network has been attributed to the growth of NFT network activity, which may have driven the recent pump in STX. Despite this, it remains down 78% from its all-time high in December 2021.
Italian university students launch BitGeneration project to teach high school students about Bitcoin. The initiative aims to bring Bitcoin education to the country's public schools through a 30-hour course over a three-year period.
Lessons include financial inclusion, economics, computer science, game theory, and practical applications like managing a wallet and mining. The course has received positive feedback from teachers, students, and Bitcoin experts involved.
The first edition of the course is funded by Conio, and ShiftCrypto will provide signing devices for the lessons. BitPolito plans to expand the project and create a documentary to tell the story of students' education.

🏖 FUN FACTS & MEME SECTION
💡 Did you know that AI is better than human in board games? In 2016, Google's DeepMind AI system, AlphaGo, beat the world champion of the ancient Chinese board game Go. This was considered a major milestone in the development of AI, as Go is considered one of the most complex games in existence and had previously been seen as too difficult for computers to master (well, what’s the next “too difficult” then?).
