Apple introduced new App Store rules regarding NFTs. You can buy NFTs only through Appleās in-app payment system, but NFTs canāt unlock any more features within the app. Crypto exchanges will need to show appropriate licensing and permissions to operate in a given region, otherwise can be removed from a local App Store.

Googleās overall revenue grew only 6% YoY, the weakest result since 2013 except at the beginning of the pandemic. Youtube ads revenue shrank by 1.86% YoY to $7.07 billion. Sundar Pichaiās company blames a slowdown in revenue growth on reduced ad spending in the crypto industry.
The biggest gainer in Q3 was Google Cloud which grew 38% to $6.87 billion in revenue.
MetaĀ decreased by 4%, but on a constant currency basis, it increased by 2% YoY.
Spotify grew 21% in total revenue and gained 75 million MAUs on a YoY basis.
Microsoftās revenue increased by 11% YoY to $50.1 billion.
Amazonās total net sales increased by 15% YoY, but its cloud segment grew slower than expected.
Appleās revenue went up by 8.1% YoY with iPhone business increasing 9% YoY, which came up short versus analystsā expectations.

The third quarter earnings report proves the very strong performance of Snapchat. Key highlights below:
Average Daily Active Users (DAU) increased by 17 million (5%) from the last quarter and by 57 million (19%) YoY. The growth was 2,75 times faster in Europe than in North America.
Total revenue increased 6% YoY to $1,128 million, while the average revenue per user (ARPU) decreased 11% YoY to $3.11.
The cost of revenue increased 4% YoY, with āContent & Developer Partner Costsā pushing the metric up the most (by 7.4%).
Operating expenses grew by 32% YoY in total.
The biggest increase in operating expenses was seen in the āGeneral and Administrativeā category, which grew by 37% YoY.
The most significant share in operating expenses in Q3 was attributed to the āResearch and Developmentā category, which reached 40%.
Daily average time spent by Snapchatters (35+) grew by more than 40% YoY.
Total time spent watching Spotlight content increased 55% YoY.
The paid subscription service, Snapchat+, reached 1.5 million subscribers in Q3.

The companyās titular project, managed by Reality Labs, lost over $3.6 billion in Q3, but it is not the point. The virtual world built by Meta is so unappealing that even the companyās employees donāt want to spend time in it.
